The Valley Inn V.F.D. along with Fallowfield Township V.F.C., Ellsworth V.F.D., South Strabane F.D., Washington County Department of Public Safety, and Fort Cherry E.M.S. took part in a rescue drill at the Dunningsville Hanson Plant as part of the company's safety week. Personnel simulated a rescue of a victim that had fallen in a stone hopper and also tended to a medical emergency of a loader operator simultaneously.
